Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Route Patrol Driver in Reynoldsburg, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol a retail location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and respond to evolving site needs. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting observations through established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exterior areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to help deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and other policy violations.
• Maintain a professional presence while assisting with traffic flow, store opening and closing activities, and incident documentation as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
