Allied Universal® in Columbus, OH is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Warehouse Patrol Driver. You will serve and safeguard clients, perform routine patrols, assist with access control, and provide outstanding customer service in a retail setting.

A valid driver’s license is required for driving duties, and you must be at least 18 years old. The role offers daytime/evening shifts with set schedules, opportunities for training and growth, and benefits as part of a nationwide security

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and location policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location including sales areas and perimeters.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor awareness, and traffic flow during normal operations and events.

Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Warehouse Patrol Driver in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, stock areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor awareness, and traffic flow during normal operations, special events, and peak shopping periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Preferred comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
