Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors while following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior/exterior spaces, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity and security concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following established procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate patrol and incident reports.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 05:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Tue: 05:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
