Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Unarmed - Entry Control in Savannah, GA. You will provide customer service, perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible security presence at a chemical/petrochemical location.

Minimum requirements include 6 months security experience, TSA TWIC, and a valid driver's license. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Excellent communication and documentation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Criminal history may be considered in accordance with laws.
• Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
