Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed) in Piedmont, SC. You will protect client sites, conduct patrols, manage access control, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

The role is weekend-focused with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour. Training, a supportive team environment, and opportunities to grow within a leading security services company are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, and assist with emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, access points, administrative spaces, parking areas, and facility perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual conditions, unauthorized access, and hazards and report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, access points, administrative spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual conditions, unauthorized access, and potential hazards within the chemical and petrochemical location, and report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
