Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Perimeter Patrol in Princeton, LA. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service while reporting concerns to site leadership.

Position type: Full Time. Pay rate: $15.00 per hour. Schedule runs DayTime 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, Monday through Friday. We value teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture and offer career growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control requirements.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, process areas, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain logs as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Observe and report hazards or security-related conditions to supervision and client contacts.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Perimeter Patrol in PRINCETON, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly, report security-related concerns, and support site operations through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, process areas, parking areas, perimeter boundaries, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required logs and documentation in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Observe and report hazards, suspicious activity, damaged barriers, and other security-related conditions to Allied Universal supervision and designated client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
