Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• A drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations calmly and communicate information to site leadership and supervision.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and authorization per site procedures, and provide directions or assistance.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence.

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and authorization in accordance with site procedures, and provide directions or assistance as needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic client environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
