Job summary

Allied Universal in Mililani, HI is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Patrol to protect retail locations and deter incidents. You will drive patrol routes, maintain a visible presence, and respond to incidents with professionalism and customer service.

Qualified candidates have a valid driver’s license, 18+ (21+ for armed roles), high school diploma or equivalent, and ability to complete background checks and a drug screen.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Patrol in Mililani, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. This driving role calls for strong communication and customer service while responding to concerns and reporting observations. Pre-Employment Requirements: Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123)

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, property policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking facilities, building entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
