Allied Universal® is seeking a part-time Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Observation in Honolulu, HI. You will monitor and protect clients across multiple industries, delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

This role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive between sites; prior security experience is helpful. You will complete patrols, document incidents, and uphold Allied Universal’s safety‑first, people‑oriented culture.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and utility operations personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to assigned locations by verifying credentials and maintaining logs.
• Prepare clear reports on incidents, patrol observations, and other security activities, and communicate with supervisors.

Pre-Employment Requirement: Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123)

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and utility operations personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access to assigned locations by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and following established entry and exit procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports on incidents, patrol observations, and other security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
