Job summary

Allied Universal in Aiea, HI is seeking a Security Officer Driver (Unarmed Patrol) for a full-time role. You will serve tenants, visitors, and employees while conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering exceptional customer service.

A valid driver’s license is required, with background checks and drug screening as part of employment. Pay rate is $23.25 per hour with a night schedule including Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun from 12:00 AM to 08:00 AM.

As a Security Officer Driver for Unarmed Patrol in Aiea, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pre-Employment Requirement: Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123)

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail and mall common areas, parking areas, loading zones, business spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious conditions, hazards, maintenance issues, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
