As a Security Officer - Unarmed Deterrence - Asset Storage in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, perimeter, and other assigned areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report access-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify supervisors and/or emergency responders as required.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence and communicating respectfully with all individuals at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
