As a Security Officer Part Time Customer Care Patrol in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and/or employees at an automotive-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, vehicle storage areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property by observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, verifying authorization when required, and reporting unusual activity or policy violations.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
