Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Longs, SC. You will provide customer service and security coverage for a technology/media/telecom location, with a focus on visibility, incident response, and reporting.

The role offers flexible day/evening shifts and a pay rate of $17.51 per hour. This is a part-time position with opportunities for ongoing training and advancement within Allied Universal.

Formación

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location and verify visitor/contractor authorization.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and document observations.
• Maintain a professional presence and follow reporting procedures.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete incident reports as required.
• Maintain a professional presence while communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and client-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
