Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Drug screen required.
• Background check as per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of galleries, public areas, entrances, exterior grounds, parking areas and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and site information, maintain an orderly environment for guests and events.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and per protocol.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of galleries, public areas, entrances, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter, reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns.


• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and site information, and help maintain an orderly environment for guests and events.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.


• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.


• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
