As a Security Officer TWIC Refinery - Highway 225 in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide professional customer service. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report hazardous conditions, unusual activity, spills, leaks, and access-control concerns to appropriate site contacts in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with site personnel and emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
