Job summary

Allied Universal in Deer Park, TX is seeking a part-time Security Officer TWIC Patrol to serve at a chemical/petrochemical site. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible, customer-focused security presence to deter incidents.

This driving, part-time position offers a $14.75 per hour pay rate and includes a $1,000 hiring bonus. A valid driver's license and TSA TWIC are required; scheduling includes DayTime and Night shifts with a flexible claim-a-shift

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license in the job location.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Comfort with computer or tablet use is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials, documenting visitor/contractor entry, and reporting access concerns.
• Complete accurate logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, communicating information to Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting access-control concerns.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
