Job summary

Allied Universal in La Porte, TX is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver TWIC Credential for a full-time, evening shift at a chemical/petrochemical site. You will perform patrols, provide customer service, deter incidents, and support a secure environment.

Responsibilities include following site procedures, responding to alarms, documenting activities, and escalating issues as needed. A TWIC and valid driver’s license are required; background checks and drug screening apply.

Qualifications

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver TWIC Credential in La Porte, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for and report unusual conditions, potential hazards, access-control concerns, and other security-related issues to appropriate site contacts.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and complete required reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
