Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Credential Driver in Deer Park, TX to safeguard clients across industries including chemical/petrochemical. This part-time position offers flexible daytime shifts and the ability to build a schedule using the Claim a Shift platform.

You will verify credentials, monitor access, and deliver excellent customer service on site. TWIC and a valid driver's license are required, along with compliance with background checks and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include TSA-issued TWIC and valid driver’s license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen prior to employment.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

• Monitor access points at a chemical/petrochemical location, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain required access records.
• Observe incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and emergency situations following established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around access points and perimeter; adapt to location-specific environments.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and/or emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points at a chemical/petrochemical location, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain required access records.
• Observe incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established notification and emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, business areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements

• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
