As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and personnel at a government maritime transportation location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, including buildings, access points, parking areas, waterfront perimeters, and other designated property.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vehicles, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and policy violations through a visible presence, observation, reporting, and adherence to post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
