Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer TWIC Credential Review Driver in Texas City, TX. This role focuses on providing exceptional customer service while controlling access at an industrial site, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry points.

You will patrol and respond to incidents, communicate professionally with staff and visitors, and support a secure, orderly work environment in a dynamic security team.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• TWIC credential required.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue access credentials, and maintain access records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unauthorized access and security concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and visitors to support orderly access to restricted areas.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 04:30 PM - 04:30 AM
• Tue: 04:30 PM - 04:30 AM
• Fri: 04:30 PM - 08:30 PM
• Sat: 04:30 PM - 04:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial engineering location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor and contractor access credentials, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized access and security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and visitors while helping to support orderly access to restricted and operational areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
