Allied Universal in Reno, NV is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) to protect client sites across technology, media, and telecom settings. You will conduct patrols, monitor access points, and deliver professional customer service while upholding site procedures and incident reporting.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, report observations, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including office areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
