Qualifications

Job Description

As a Security Officer - Storage Facility, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a professional environment through routine patrols, reporting, and collaboration with site personnel. Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a government military-related location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization in accordance with site policies; maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by communicating professionally, following post orders, and reporting security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
