Allied Universal in New York is seeking a Security Officer - Storage Facility to safeguard government locations and ensure smooth daily operations. You will perform routine patrols, manage access control, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

The role emphasizes customer service, adherence to post orders, and teamwork with site personnel to maintain a secure environment. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Formación

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a government military-related location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization in accordance with site policies; maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by communicating professionally, following post orders, and reporting security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

As a Security Officer - Storage Facility, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a professional environment through routine patrols, reporting, and collaboration with site personnel. What You'll Do
