Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Established Residential Complex in New York. You will safeguard government-related facilities, deter incidents with a visible presence, and provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and visitors.

This role is unarmed and requires strong integrity and teamwork. The position offers full-time hours with a rotating DayTime schedule, and a pay rate of $18.50 per hour.

Formación

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be performed as required by law.
• Drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to visitors, residents, staff, and contractors while following site procedures and access-control requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas; report issues.
• Monitor access points and verify authorizations; maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and according to site procedures.
• Deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and report suspicious behavior or property damage.

Job Description

As a Security Officer - Established Residential Complex, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and staff, respond to concerns, and support site operations through teamwork and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, residents, staff, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government-related maintenance location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through a visible professional presence and promptly report suspicious behavior, property damage, and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
