As a Security Officer Patrol Observation in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a grocery retail location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through professional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting of security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Tue: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Fri: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sun: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store, exterior areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe store activity, and report incidents or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
