Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Observation in El Monte, CA. This role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with opportunities to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

The position offers a part-time schedule with a fixed anchor shift and a program to claim extra shifts, paying $21.35 per hour. Candidates should have at least two years of security experience and meet minimum requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within assigned areas, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Observation in El Monte, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.35 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
