Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security procedures and emergency responses.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch routine and urgent calls using radio, telephone, and CAD systems.
• Monitor communications, alarms, cameras, and site systems; document incidents and actions.
• Coordinate responses to incidents in a calm, problem‑solving manner and notify appropriate responders.
• Maintain dispatch logs and incident documentation, supporting a professional communications center.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $30.90 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch routine and urgent calls for service using radio, telephone, and computer-aided dispatch systems.
• Monitor communications, alarms, cameras, and other site systems; document incidents, dispatch actions, and relevant details in accordance with site procedures.
• Coordinate responses to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, shift activity reports, and incident documentation while supporting a professional communications center environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience preferred.
• Hold CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
