Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer (Screening Operator) in Chino, CA. You will screen individuals and belongings, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while delivering outstanding customer service to drivers, employees, visitors, and vendors.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, background check, and drug screening. A valid driver’s license is needed for driving positions, with a schedule that includes day/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, employees, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or belongings entering or leaving the facility in accordance with established procedures; report prohibited items, irregularities, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points, employee entrances, and package-handling areas; verify credentials and maintain required screening and access-control documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business, perimeter, parking areas, and loading zones, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
