Qualifications

As a Security Officer Threat Screening in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel and/or materials, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver's license. Pay Rate: $21.89 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed06:00 AM - 02:30 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures, including verifying identification, access authorization, and permitted items.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain accurate visitor and screening records, and report irregularities or unauthorized access attempts to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, facility access points, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
