Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time) – Driver Screening Operations in Torrance, CA. You will screen persons and vehicles, monitor access points, and maintain safety and documentation at the logistics site.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, strong customer service skills, and comfort with computers or tablets. You will work a daytime to evening shift schedule and report to site leadership while supporting our client and team.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• A drug screen may be required by policy.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen persons, vehicles, deliveries, and/or cargo entering or leaving the logistics location in accordance with established procedures.
• Verify identification, access credentials, shipping documentation, and visitor or driver authorization before permitting entry to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report observations to appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Screening Operations in Torrance, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will screen individuals and materials, monitor access points, and report security-related concerns. Provide professional customer service, communicate with team members and visitors, and document activities using technology. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
