As a Security Officer Full Time Screening in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel and visitors, monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, and reporting security-related concerns. Your visible presence and professional communication will help deter incidents while supporting a positive experience for everyone on site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or property entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor access points and inspect credentials, shipments, and/or items as directed to help identify unauthorized access or prohibited items.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
