Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Screening Officer in Concord, NC. You will manage access, screen people and packages, and maintain a secure environment in a fast-paced logistics setting.

Position involves shift-based hours and requires supervisory experience, 21+ years old, and a high school diploma. You will receive training and have opportunities to grow within a leading security solutions provider.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience.
• X-Ray screening experience preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access screening requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals, packages, and permitted items entering the logistics and distribution location in accordance with site policies and established procedures.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized entry attempts, prohibited items, unusual activity, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken according to site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, trailer yards, entrances, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

What You'll Do:
