Job summary

Securitas USA in Cabool, MO is looking for a Part Time Security Officer to safeguard people and property on weekend shifts. You will monitor entrances, perform patrols, and promptly report incidents, ensuring compliant post orders are followed and safety protocols are observed.

Ideal candidates bring strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. This role offers valuable experience with a respected security leader and flexible weekend hours.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client's employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property (meeting check point expectations).
• Access control duties in a guard shack checking in trucks.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Wage: $15.00/HR

Weekends Only: 12 Hour Shifts

Sat - Sun: 0500 - 1700

What You Can Expect:

Basic Requirements:

• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Valid Drivers License required.
