Job summary

Securitas, Inc. in Cabool, MO is seeking a Part Time Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment. The role includes access control, patrolling, and enforcing site directives.

Weekend 12-hour shifts (Sat-Sun 5AM-5PM) are required, with a wage of $15.00 per hour. Strong customer service and vigilance are essential. Responsibilities include de-escalation, coordinating with client staff, reporting hazards, and following post orders.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Valid Drivers License required.
• Must be alert and observant.
• Must have a strong professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property (meeting check point expectations).
• Access control duties in a guard shack checking in trucks.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

• Sat - Sun: 5AM - 5PM

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
