Securitas, Inc. is seeking aPart-Time Security Officer in Poplar Bluff, MO. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, secure environment through access control, patrols, and customer service for client sites.

Typical duties include enforcing regulations, reporting hazards, and responding professionally in emergencies. Applicants must meet the listed basic requirements and be able to work independently on Sundays from 0600 to 1400.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer/technology skills.
• Valid driver's license required; driving record must meet standards.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety issues and suspicious activity.
• Conduct patrols and manage access control.
• Provide customer service to employees and guests.
• Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
• Operate security technology devices during shift.
• Carry out tasks of similar scope as site requirements.

Part-Time Security Officer's

Primary Location: Poplar Bluff, MO

Wage:$19.50/HR

Schedule: Sun: 0600 - 1400

TheSecurity Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Truck gate access control.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Valid Drivers License required.
