Security Officer/Rover: ConocoPhillips Tower (Anchorage)

Security Rover at the ConocoPhillips Towers facility; under the supervision of the Shift Lead, provide protection of work sites, personnel, and assets from events such as assault, theft, vandalism, harassment, and other disruptive incidents. Duties routinely performed during the Monday through Friday, 50-hour shift include outside Roving Patrols (both in a vehicle and on foot), health and safety checks, and report writing.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30am - 4:30pm, 50-hour work week.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two (2) years of law enforcement experience OR four (4) years of private security service OR related military security service
• Fluent in English
• State of Alaska security officer certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Red Cross CPR/First Aid certification
• Mandatory defensive driving classes
• Minimum age of 21

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Enforce CPA policies and procedures
• Protect parking lots, personnel, and assets from assault, theft, vandalism, harassment, and other incidents
• Perform security patrols of the general parking lot and facility exterior
• Respond to alarms, power outages, and security breaches
• Maintain radio/telephone communication
• Perform other duties as required
• Work at various locations as needed
