Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Security Captain, the employee provides protection of work sites, personnel, and assets from events such as assault, theft, vandalism, harassment, and other disruptive incidents. This position is based in Anchorage, AK with a rotational schedule: two weeks on / two weeks off.

Responsibilities

1. Enforce client policies and procedures.
2. Protect work sites, personnel, and assets from disruptive incidents.
3. Control access of personnel, materials, and equipment.
4. Perform security patrols.
5. Respond to alarms, outages, breaches, and emergencies.
6. Utilize Microsoft Office and other computer programs.
7. Maintain radio/telephone communications.
8. Perform other duties as required.
9. Work at various locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years law enforcement or 4 years private security/military experience.
• State of Alaska Security Guard license (or ability to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in English communication.
