Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time routine patrol role in Bristol, IN. You will safeguard the site, provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

Responsibilities include performing regular unarmed patrols of tech-focused facilities, monitoring access points, logging activities, and reporting security concerns.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns through established communication channels.
• Support a professional, welcoming environment by providing directions, answering routine questions, and reporting maintenance, access, or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
