Allied Universal in Bristol, IN is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer at a technology-focused location. You will provide professional customer service to employees and visitors while patrolling the site, monitoring access, and responding to incidents with calm, decisive actions.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state and local laws.
• Criminal history considered in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access control and direct guests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations with calm, professional problem-solving and reporting.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident documentation for leadership and site contacts.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 09:30 PM - 05:30 AM
• Sun: 09:30 PM - 05:30 AM

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with access control and directing guests to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident documentation, communicating observations and relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
