Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security services company in North America, is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Compliance in Bristol, IN. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible presence at a technology, media, and telecom location.

This full-time role pays $17.75 per hour and includes shift schedules Tue–Sat evenings. You will monitor access, respond to incidents, and document findings for leadership and site contacts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in line with federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in line with laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required per state or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site procedures and security protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading zones, access points and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, and maintain awareness of visitor activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site emergency procedures.
• Document observations and incidents in reports and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading zones, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
