Job summary

Prosegur in Providence, Rhode Island is seeking a Security Officer - Retail to maintain a safe environment and deliver unarmed security services to our clients.

The role requires standing/walking long periods, basic to intermediate computer skills, and strong communication. You will perform foot patrols, observe hazards, and respond calmly in crisis situations. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and support a diverse workforce.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have one (1) year of experience as a security officer.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have good communications skills.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
• Must be able to walk/run flights of stairs on a daily basis.
• Ability to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods.
• Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior.
