Job summary

Prosegur is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer in Connecticut. You will help maintain a safe environment, greet clients, report hazards, and follow post instructions. You will participate in training and interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public on-site.

The role requires a CT security license, a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of security experience, and reliable transportation. Weekly pay with a competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Connecticut State Security License.
• 1 year security officer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties.
• Promote safety by observing, correcting, and reporting hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and client requirements and post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public professionally.

Job Skills / Requirements

Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.


• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.


• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.


• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.


• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.


• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.


• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older


• High school diploma or GED equivalent


• Must have a Connecticut State Security License


• Must have one (1) year of experience as a security officer


• Must have reliable transportation


• Must have good communications skills


• Ability to stand or walk for long periods


• Must be able to walk/run flights of stairs on a daily basis.


• Ability to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods


• Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior\"

Hourly Wage- $19.50/h
