Job summary

Prosegur is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment for customers and staff at our Rochester location. The role involves general security duties, patrols, and strong customer service interactions to ensure a secure and welcoming atmosphere.

You will need a NYS Security License, a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year of security experience. The position offers weekly pay at 19 dollars per hour with a part-time schedule and company benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a New York State Security License.
• Must have one year of experience as a security officer.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods and perform patrols.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job Skills / Requirements

Pay rate - $19.00 - Weekly pay!

Schedule: Thursday 2:30p - 8pm, Friday, Saturday & Sunday 9am - 8pm

Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.

• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have good communications skills
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods
• Must be able to walk/run flights of stairs on a daily basis.
