Job summary

Prosegur is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for a part-time shift (Monday and Tuesday, 12pm–8pm) in Cranston, RI. The role pays $19.00 per hour with weekly pay. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment, reporting hazards, and ensuring compliance with client requirements.

Strong communication and basic computer skills are required. The ideal candidate is 18+, has a HS diploma or GED, and at least 1 year of security experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have one (1) year of experience as a security officer.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have good communications skills.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
• Must be able to walk/run flights of stairs on a daily basis.
• Ability to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods.

Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
