Job summary

Prosegur Security USA, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer in New York to maintain a safe environment for customers and employees while performing general security duties.

The role requires customer service orientation, basic to intermediate computer skills, and professional interaction with clients and staff. The Thursday shift from 2:30p to 8p and Friday–Sunday from 9a to 8p applies, with a pay rate of $19.00 and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have a New York State Security License.
• Must have one (1) year of experience as a security officer.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have good communications skills.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
• Must be able to walk/run flights of stairs on a daily basis.
• Ability to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods.
• Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior.

• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
