Job summary

Prosegur in New York is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for customers and staff while delivering professional security services. The role demands a NYS Security License, a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year of security experience.

You will need reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills. The shift is 2nd with weekends, and the pay is hourly with weekly payday.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.

• Must have one year security officer experience.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Must have reliable transportation and good communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
• Promote safety by observing, correcting, and reporting hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and client requirements.
• Participate in training and learn general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public professionally.
• Be customer service oriented with basic to intermediate computer skills and strong written and oral communication.
• Perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather as an Unarmed Security Officer.

Job Skills / Requirements

Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.

Monday- 4:30pm-12:45am

Thursday-4:30pm-12:45am

Friday-4:30pm-12:45am

Saturday-4:30pm-12:45am

Sunday- 4:30pm-12:45am
