Job summary

Prosegur is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for Staten Island, NY. You will maintain a safe environment for customers and employees while performing on-site security duties. The position requires a High School Diploma and an Unarmed Security License, with strong customer service and communication skills.

You must be able to patrol on foot and work in all weather. Compensation is $23.00 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, Paid Vacation,

Job Skills / Requirements

Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.

Pay Rate: 23.00/hr
