Allied Universal in Concord, MA is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Response Patrol to safeguard patients, visitors and staff across healthcare settings. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to incidents with professionalism and integrity.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Background history considered with laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional manner, coordinating with hospital personnel and responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and access questions, and maintain a professional presence.
• Document incidents and observations accurately and promptly following reporting procedures.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
