Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Response Patrol in Concord, MA to safeguard patients, visitors and staff at healthcare locations. You will perform routine patrols, deter incidents, provide excellent customer service, and respond to security concerns with integrity and professionalism.

The role requires 18+ years old, HS diploma, and successful background/drug checks; CPR is preferred. This is a full-time position with a pay rate of $25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate hospital personnel and public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and access-related questions while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly, following site-specific reporting procedures.
