Job summary

Allied Universal in Concord, MA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Emergency Aid Patrol) to protect patients, staff and visitors at a healthcare location. You will perform unarmed patrols, respond to incidents, and maintain a visible, reassuring presence.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate hospital personnel and emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific policies; assist with directions, escorts, and/or access-related inquiries as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
